+ Confira a classificação do Campeonato Brasileiro 2021!

Chelsea moved up to seventh in the Premier League table with an eye-catching 5-0 win over West Ham United at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
The Blues are above Manchester United on goal difference, ahead of their clash with Crystal Palace on Monday night, and are two points behind sixth-placed Newcastle United, with three matches left to play.
Mauricio Pochettino's side are still in with a chance to secure a place in a European competition for the 2024/25 campaign, but it remains to be seen whether they will land in the Europa Conference League or the Europa League.
Cole Palmer, Conor Gallagher, and Noni Madueke all scored during the first half to give the team a healthy advantage, before Nicolas Jackson struck twice in the second half to round out the 5-0 win.
Noni Madueke and Nicolas Jackson
The only starter outside of Dorde Petrovic and the back four who was not directly involved in a goal was Mykhailo Mudryk and Pochettino must now ruthlessly ditch the lightweight from the starting XI.
Mykhailo Mudryk's performance against West Ham
The Ukraine international was selected to start on the left side of the attack for the Blues at Stamford Bridge but failed to showcase his quality in the way that his teammates did.
Moises Caicedo registered an assist, Gallagher scored, Madueke produced a goal and an assist, Palmer scored, and Jackson scored two goals to go along with his assist, as the rest of Chelsea's midfield and attack outperformed Mudryk.
He did not make the most of his team's dominance in the game to play with freedom and display his attacking ability by taking players on and trying to make things happen, as the forward ended the match with one attempted dribble.

As you can see in the table above, the 23-year-old attacker did not have much of an impact on the game, with zero 'big chances' created and zero goals from 0.34 xG.
GOAL reporter Mark Doyle handed him a match rating of 5/10 and described the winger as the 'weak link' once again for the Blues, citing his safe play in possession – passing it backwards too often – as one of the reasons why it was such an underwhelming showing.
Mudryk ended the match with fewer touches (36) than the Chelsea goalkeeper Petrovic (46) and the fewest of any starter in the front for Pochettino, which speaks to his passive mentality during the game as he failed to go out in search of the ball in order to make things happen.
The Argentine head coach must now ditch the winger from the starting XI, as it was the latest disappointing showing in an underwhelming campaign from the young whiz.
Mykhailo Mudryk's Premier League season in numbers
Pochettino could, perhaps, excuse the odd poor performance if it was surrounded by impressive displays in other games, but that has not been the case for Mudryk.
The former Shakhtar Donetsk speedster has racked up just four goals and two assists in 29 appearances in the Premier League so far this season – an average of one goal or assist every 4.8 games.
In the 2023/24 campaign, the attacker does not rank within the top five in the Chelsea squad for goals, assists, shots per game, or key passes per game, which illustrates his lack of influence in the final third.
Mykhaylo Mudryk for Chelsea
He ranks within the bottom 49% of wingers and attacking midfielders in the division for shot-creating actions per 90 (3.63), the bottom 34% for assists (0.13), and the bottom 40% for shots taken per 90 (2.07).
The Chelsea lightweight, who has lost 55% of his duels in the Premier League, has also been far too loose in possession of the ball to be considered a reliable operator.
Mudryk ranks within the bottom 7% of his positional peers in the top-flight for pass accuracy at just 67.3%, which shows that he is one of the most unreliable passers in the league.
His poor form throughout the season, with zero goals and zero assists in his last ten games, is why Pochettino must ditch the 'weak link' from the XI next time out against Nottingham Forest next Saturday.
The player Chelsea should replace Mykhailo Mudryk with
Christopher Nkunku made his return from injury off the bench against West Ham and, if fit, should be named in the lineup against the Tricky Trees.
The French forward has missed a staggering 39 matches through various injury issues, with hamstring, hip, and knee problems, and that has restricted his impact in London thus far.
He has only made eight appearances in the Premier League so far, two of which have come as a starter, and has scored two goals from 1.75 xG in that time.
It has possibly been frustrating for Pochettino and supporters that Nkunku has not been more readily available for selection, as two goals from two starts speaks to the untapped potential he has in a Chelsea shirt.

As you can see in the table above, the 26-year-old sensation arrived at Stamford Bridge off the back of a sublime campaign in the Bundesliga with RB Leipzig last term.
He was directly involved in 20 goals in 20 league starts, compared to Mudryk's six involvements in 16 starts in the Premier League this term, and that speaks to his quality and consistency as an attacking player.
Nkunku ranks within the top 19% of forwards in the Men's Big 5 Leagues and European competitions over the last 365 days for non-penalty goals per 90 (0.53), and the top 6% for Expected Assisted Goals (0.25).
This shows that the former Bundesliga star does have the potential to be a terrific option for Pochettino to call upon if he is fit enough to play from the start next Saturday.

If Nkunku can be selected to line up on the left of the attack, Pochettino must ditch Mudryk from the XI in order to hand the Frenchman an opportunity to shine.

Seamer hopes reverse-swing expertise can earn him spot in side for first Test in Sri Lanka

There was a time when Saqib Mahmood – a young seamer capable of reaching speeds of 90mph/145kph and extracting reverse-swing – would have been like gold dust for England. But with Jofra Archer and Mark Wood both regularly cranking it up over the last 12 months of Test cricket, Mahmood recognises that the bar has been raised.”For someone like me who touches 90mph, you’re looking at these guys and it’s almost like that’s not quick enough anymore,” Mahmood told PA. “I think those two guys have really raised the bar in terms of pace.ALSO READ: Kookaburra would bring ‘different skillset’ into Championship – Mahmood”A few years ago… we were crying out for 90mph bowlers. Now we’ve got two bowlers who can get it up past 95mph. These guys make me hungrier to keep working hard and get quicker.”Mahmood, a late call-up to England’s squad in Sri Lanka after Wood’s injury, is yet to make his debut in Test cricket, but is one of only four frontline seamers to have made the trip alongside Stuart Broad, Sam Curran and Chris Woakes, with Archer also missing out through injury. And while he is not taking anything for granted, Mahmood hopes that his skill with the old ball can help catapult him into the side following strong showings across two warm-up games.”In this team that’s probably what I’ll be looking to do: bowl short spells and try to be as quick as I can be,” he said. “As a seamer over here you’re not going to bowl the same number of overs you would in England so you have to make the most of them.”I want to attack with the new ball, but I also want to attack later in the innings and not just be a bystander in the field when the spinners are getting through their overs. Whether that’s by getting the ball reversing or by making something by bowling three or four overs as fast as possible, I just want to show everyone what I can do.”Mahmood has regularly touched 90mph in his televised appearances for Lancashire, but after struggling to reach such speeds in his handful of international caps to date, it has been suggested that he needs to focus on finding that mark more regularly. But Mahmood is confident that an extra yard of pace “will come naturally” as he grows older and stronger.Saqib Mahmood was a late call-up to England’s squad after Mark Wood’s injury•Gareth Copley/Getty Images
“There is a fine margin, you have to be careful as a bowler and not search so hard for something that you lose what you’ve got,” he said.”At the moment I can bowl high 80s and also have skill and control. I wouldn’t want to sacrifice anything in search of another three of four miles an hour but hopefully that will come naturally. I’m only 23 and as I grow older I should get stronger in my action.”England trained for the first time on their tour on Thursday at the Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. Jack Leach, who has a calf niggle, warmed up on his own before bowling in the nets, while Ben Stokes has arrived in the country after delaying his departure to attend a funeral.Their first warm-up game against a Sri Lanka Board President’s XI begins on Saturday.
Sarfaraz Ahmed demoted from category A to B; Shaheen Afridi and Azhar Ali promoted from B to A

Pakistan’s pace-bowling trio of Hasan Ali, Wahab Riaz and Mohammad Amir have lost their central contracts while former captain Sarfaraz Ahmed has been demoted from category A to B by the PCB. Shaheen Afridi and Azhar Ali were promoted from category B to A, joining Babar Azam in the top category for PKR 1.1 million (USD 6200 approx.). The PCB also introduced a new ‘Emerging’ category for three upcoming players Haider Ali, Mohammad Hasnain and Haris Rauf, while Naseem Shah earned a maiden category C contract. The PCB also named Babar Azam the new ODI captain, making him the country’s white-ball leader.Yasir Shah, one of the central figures in the Pakistan Test side, was the other player to be demoted from A to B and Imam-ul-Haq was demoted from B to C. Yasir has had a poor run of late in Tests, averaging 75 with 10 wickets from five games since the beginning of 2019. He and Sarfaraz joined Asad Shafiq, Haris Sohail, Mohammad Abbas and Shadab Khan in the B category along with the trio of Abid Ali, Mohammad Rizwan and Shan Masood who were promoted from C to B, which will fetch the players PKR 750,000 (USD 4700 approx.). Ahmed was the captain in all three formats at the time of the previous contracts but since October 2019 he not only lost his captaincy but was also dropped from the Test side to be replaced by Mohammad Rizwan.ESPNcricinfo Ltd
Category C saw two new entrants in Naseem and Iftikhar Ahmed who joined Fakhar Zaman, Imad Wasim, Imam, and Usman Shinwari; this category will help the players earn PKR 550,000 (USD 3400 approx.).”The philosophy and criteria for this merit-based central contract list was simple and straightforward: the selectors reviewed player performances in the past 12 months and then looked ahead to our team requirements in the forthcoming 12 months,” chief selector and head coach Misbah-ul-Haq said in a statement. “I am thankful to the PCB Chairman for supporting our recommendation to give emerging player contracts to Haider, Haris and Hasnain. This is part of our forward-looking strategy and investing in the future, while also encouraging potential future national team players. I am sure this will motivate a number of youngsters in the 2020-21 domestic cricket to perform up to the expected level and earn such incentives.”Amir and Riaz had both retired from Tests last year citing workload management to extend their white-ball careers with Pakistan, and their T20 longevity in leagues around the world. Both were demoted to category C last year only to be left out from the new list this time, which is valid from July 1, 2020 to June 31, 2021.Over the years, Pakistan have invested significantly in Hasan as he became an automatic pick across formats under previous head coach Mickey Arthur. He made a flying start to his international career after making his Test debut in 2017 until last year when he suffered a slump in form and broke down with injuries. He last played for Pakistan in June 2019 and then missed nearly the entire first-class season at home (played one first-class game only) due a to rib injury. He made a comeback in the PSL in February for Peshawar Zalmi to revive his form but didn’t look as convincing with eight wickets in nine games with an economy rate of 8.59 and best figures of 2 for 36.”The selectors have made the tough decisions to leave out Amir, Hasan and Wahab but considering Hasan missed most of the season due to an injury and Amir and Wahab decided to focus on white-ball cricket, this was the right move,” Misbah said. “However, Amir and Wahab are senior and experienced bowlers and they remain in contention as we believe they can still contribute to the Pakistan men’s cricket team and also mentor our young battery of fast bowlers.”Naseem, 17, made major strides in international cricket over the last three months, accomplishing records for the youngest to take a Test hat-trick and the youngest fast bowler to a five-wicket haul in Tests. “I am delighted for Naseem and Shaheen who have been well-rewarded for their outstanding performances,” Misbah said. “The two teenagers are the future of Pakistan cricket and I have no doubts that if they remain fit and stay focused, they will dominate world cricket for a long time. Their elevation is also a reward for bowling coach Waqar Younis, who has been working tirelessly on them, but there is still a long way to go for the duo and they have to perform consistently at big stages before they can put their cases of classifying them in the league of bowlers such as Waqar.”Iftikhar, 29, considered a formidable allrounder with impressive fielding skills, was recalled into the ODI squad in September last year after a gap of nearly four years. He returned into national reckoning on the back of impressive displays in the Pakistan Cup 50-overs tournament, where he made back-to-back hundreds for Punjab and has since played two Tests, two ODIs and seven T20Is.”In the list, we have a strong pool of batsmen and bowlers, which will allow us to strategically rotate our players and manage their workloads,” Misbah said. “In the meantime, the selectors will continue to keep an eye on the 2020-21 domestic cricket and if they feel strongly that someone needs to be fast tracked into the national side, then we will not hesitate in giving those top performers such opportunities.”
Tottenham are one of several Premier League clubs being linked with a move for a defender with "huge potential".
Tottenham transfer rumours
Spurs have endured a mixed 2023/24 campaign so far. They are once again set to go without a trophy and after a 10-game unbeaten run at the start of the season suggested there was hope of a Premier League title push, Spurs have now dropped out of the top-four.
The Lilywhites could still knock Aston Villa out of the final Champions League place in their remaining two games but it does seem likely that the north Londoners will have to settle for Europa League football next term. This is by no means a terrible achievement for Tottenham, especially after the loss of Harry Kane, but it does highlight their need to continue improving their squad this summer.
Recently, Tottenham have been linked with a number of attacking options. Spurs are said to be one of the clubs who have been in contact over signing RB Leipzig's Dani Olmo – who is thought of as a potential bargain despite being valued at around £56 million. They are also believed to be one of several teams interested in Genoa's talented Icelandic attacker, Albert Gudmundsson, ahead of the summer transfer window.
Dani Olmo for RB Leipzig
However, while those players would no doubt improve Tottenham, it appears Ange Postecoglou would prefer to strengthen at the other end of the pitch. The Australian tactician spoke at length earlier in 2023/24 about his desire to sign a centre-back:
"If you’re saying, ‘Is it an area we can strengthen?’, yes it’s an area we will probably look at,” said Postecoglou on Spurs signing another centre-back. "With all these things, it’s about trying to strengthen the group as much as anything else. If you think about when I first arrived, we had maybe six or seven centre-backs at the club.
"So it’s not just numbers. It’s more about the ability of those players to play the football we want and to fit into what we’re trying to build here. I think it is an area of the park we will look to strengthen, but I think we’ll look to strengthen all areas of the park come the end of the season. That is planning that’s already underway, and other people are in charge of it at the moment."
Tottenham join Liverpool in race to sign 22 y/o defender with "huge potential"
Now, it appears as though Postecoglou may finally get his wish when it comes to shoring up his backline.
This comes with Football Insider reporting that Liverpool, Chelsea, Aston Villa, Tottenham, West Ham and Crystal Palace all sent scouts to watch Brest defender Bradley Locko on Friday as they weigh up moves to sign him this summer.
Bradley Locko for Brest.
The French left-back has been a standout player for the Ligue 1 club this season, providing three assists in 33 league games, as they close in on a place in the Champions League.
The report adds that Brest are bracing themselves for offers to sign Locko and are unlikely to reject any sizeable bids that may come in to acquire his services this summer. The 22-year-old is currently valued at around £9m by Transfermarket, with sources stating earlier this week that Premier League trio Liverpool, Aston Villa and West Ham see the defender as having “huge potential”.
