نال الدولي السنغالي، ساديو ماني، جناح ليفربول، جائزة لاعب الشهر داخل الريدز، عن شهر سبتمبر المُنصرم.

وتنافس على الجائزة كل من محمد صلاح وروبرتو فيرمينو وماني، وجاء السنغالي في المركز الأول، ومو بالمرتبة الثانية بينما تواجد فيرمينو بالمرتبة الثالثة، وفقًا لما ذكره الموقع الرسمي للريدز.

ماني في شهر سبتمبر الماضي، سجّل ثلاثة أهداف، واحد ضد آرسنال، وثنائية ضد تشيلسي قاد بهما حمُر الميرسيسايد للفوز على البلوز بنتيجة 2-0.

يُذكر أنّ ماني كان يُعاني في الفترة الماضية من الإصابة بـ فيروس كورونا “كوفيد – 19″، ولكنه تعافى من الإصابة وقد يشارك في مباراة الغد أمام إيفرتون (طالع تصريحات يورجن كلوب).

West Ham fans are sick of the team making the same mistakes again and again after Aaron Cresswell attributed Monday’s loss against Chelsea to a poor start in the game.

Hammers fans are getting fed up of hearing the same record over and over as poor starts have become somewhat of a habit for their side this season.

The Irons have conceded 24 first half goals in the Premier League this season whilst only scoring 18 goals in the first 45 minutes of games.

The London club currently sit 11th in the Premier League with five games to go, and their hopes of a Europa League finish now look slim despite looking to be in a good position a few weeks back.

Manuel Pellegrini’s side have now lost back to back games and West Ham fans aren’t happy with the inconsistency shown this season as well as the poor starts that have become regular for the manager and his troops.

It is of course made even worse by Cresswell coming out and giving excuses for a problem everyone already knows exists, and here’s what West Ham fans have been saying on Twitter…

وقال فابينيو، في تصريحات نشرها الموقع الرسمي للبطولة: “كنا نعلم أنه سيكون صعبًا، الشوط الأول كان أفضل، صنعنا فرصًا جيدة للتسجيل”.

وأضاف: “كان من المهم تسجيل الهدف الأول، رغم أن الدقائق الـ15 الأخيرة كانت صعبة، دافعنا بشكل جيد كفريق واحد، ومن المهم دائمًا البدء بثلاث نقاط”.

وواصل: “لم تكن هذه مباراتي الأولى في مركز قلب الدفاع، كان التواصل مع جو جوميز وترينت أرنولد مهمًا للغاية، كما كان مع خط الوسط أيضًا، تحاول الاستمرار في التحدث إلى الآخرين”.

واختتم: “بدأ بعض الرجال الذين لم يعتادوا على البدء اليوم وكانوا جيدين جدًا، مثل كورتيس جونز وجيمس ميلنر، الرجال الذين شاركوا في الشوط الثاني أبلوا بلاءً حسنًا أيضًا”.

Premier League safety might not be confirmed just yet, but it’s safe to say that West Ham’s top-flight status is safe for another season.

With five games to go and teams below them failing to pick up points, Manuel Pellegrini’s side can take it easy going into their final few matches, and maybe even make a surprise result or two along the way. And against Manchester United this weekend, the Hammers could cause an unprecedented shakeup of the race for Champions League football.

Results against the Red Devils have been mixed over the past few seasons. The Hammers dominated United at home earlier in the season in a 3-1 win, as well as beating the Manchester side 3-2 in the final game at Upton Park.

However, the Hammers are yet to win in the league at Old Trafford since 2007, when Carlos Tevez saved the club from relegation to the Championship on the final day of the season with a 1-0 win.

Going into this match with not much to play for, West Ham could capitalise on the pressure United and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer are under. After a honeymoon period as caretaker manager, the now full-time boss of the club has stumbled as of late at the wheel.

One win in their last five games has seen United crash out of the FA Cup and slip up in the league for what looked like a guaranteed Champions League spot, and although on paper the Red Devils are the favourites for this weekend’s game against West Ham, Solskjaer should be cautious.

Pellegrini’s side were impressive against Chelsea on Monday night, and West Ham are a team who know how to get results against United.

The Hammers have what it takes to not only secure their safety in the Premier League but to shake up the landscape of the top-four race.

Tottenham Hotspur striker Vincent Janssen returned from exile to take a place on the bench as Mauricio Pochettino’s side took on Manchester City on Saturday.

The Dutchman last played for the club in the Premier League in August of 2017, playing a single minute in a 2-1 defeat to Chelsea.

This season, he has spent the campaign with the Under-23s, but even there he has played just twice, scoring once.

However, he was restored to the matchday squad for the clash with City, as Pochettino made a number of changes to his side.

Of course, Spurs triumphed on aggregate against City in the Champions League earlier this week, progressing into the semi-finals.

They were unable to repeat that on Saturday, however, as they lost 1-0.

And a number of fans, before the game, chose to focus on the surprise inclusion of the Dutchman.

أكد الدولي السنغالي، كاليدو كوليبالي، مدافع فريق نابولي، أنه لا يُفكر في الوقت الحالي في إمكانية الرحيل عن صفوف البارتينوبي، وذلك بعد ارتباطه بإمكانية الانضمام لصفوف ليفربول الإنجليزي، في نافذة الانتقالات الشتوية القادمة.

المدافع السنغالي بقوة بخطوة الرحيل عن نابولي، هذا الصيف، حيث سعى مانشستر سيتي إلى الحصول على خدماته.

وخلال الأيام القليلة الماضية، ذكرت تقارير صحفية أنّ ليفربول يريد التعاقد مع كوليبالي، مطلع العام الجديد، لتعويض الهولندي فيرجيل فان دايك.

وتعرض فان دايك لتمزق في أوتار الركبة خلال مشاركته أمام إيفرتون، وسيخضع لعملية جراحية ستجبره على الابتعاد عن الملاعب لأشهر طويلة.

وقال كوليبالي في تصريحات عبر شبكة “سكاي سبورت إيطاليا”: “أنا أحب نابولي، ونابولي يحبني وهذا أمر مُهم”.

وواصل تصريحاته بالحديث عن الانتصار على ريال سوسييداد في الدوري الأوروبي: “لا أعرف ما إذا كان هذا هو الفوز الأهم في الموسم حتى الآن، لكن ريال سوسيداد فريق ممتاز، لكن الفوز عليهم كان أمرًا صعبًا”.

Celtic fans have taken to Twitter in their droves on Tuesday to give their heart-warming tributes to legendary club captain Billy McNeill after his death.

The sad news of the 79-year-old’s passing was Tweeted out by the Hoops’ official account and was met by floods of messages from grieving supporters.

McNeill, a defender by trade, both captained and managed at Parkhead and also made 30 appearances for the Scottish national team, bringing great success to the green and white side of Glasgow both as a player and as a gaffer.

He is best known for leading the “Lisbon Lions,” the famous Celtic side that lifted the European Cup in 1967 by beating Internazionale in Portugal, and will be sorely missed as a prominent figure at Neil Lennon’s men’s matches even up until today.

Tributes from members of the Hoops Army towards the nine-time Scottish league champion simply called him “the greatest”, an icon of football and “forever loved.”

يعترف ليوناردو بونوتشي بأن نتائج يوفنتوس لم تكن على مستوى معايير الفريق مؤخرًا، بعد الهزيمة 2-0 على أرضه في دوري أبطال أوروبا أمام برشلونة.

ولم يحالف البيانكونيري الحظ حيث تم إلغاء ثلاثة أهداف لـ ألفارو موراتا للتسلل، ضمن منافسات الجولة الثانية من دوري أبطال أوروبا.

شهد المباراة أيضًا طرد ديميرال مدافع يوفنتوس، وتم احتساب ركلة جزاء للبارسا بعد خطأ من بيرنارديسكي على أنسو فاتي، وسجلها ليونيل ميسي في آخر دقائق المباراة.

وقال بونوتشي لشبكة سكاي سبورت إيطاليا: “إنها اللحظة التي نحتاج فيها إلى تجاوز الوضع الذي لا نقبله، والعمل معًا وإخراج أفضل ما لدينا”.

وأضاف: “النتائج لم تكن على مستوى معاييرنا في الآونة الأخيرة، كنا نعلم أن الأمر صعب، حتى لو كان الفريقان يفتقدان الكثير من اللاعبين، لكننا ارتكبنا الكثير من الأخطاء الفنية مما سهل الأمر على برشلونة”.

وأردف بونوتشي: “أمامنا طريق طويل، نحن نعلم أنه كان بإمكاننا فعل المزيد هذا المساء، بما في ذلك أنا، حتى لو كنت أعاني (من الإصابة)”.

وواصل: “ما يجعلني أتمسك بالأمل هو تلك الرغبة في فعل شيء أكثر بالكرة عند أقدامنا، هذا يعني أنك تتحمل المزيد من المخاطر ويمكن أن تمنح الفرص، ولكن هذا شيء نحتاج إلى العمل عليه”.

غاب جورجيو كيليني وكريستيانو رونالدو هذا المساء، وشارك لاعبون جدد لأول موسم لهم في دوري أبطال أوروبا.

وعلّق بونوتشي: “من الطبيعي أن يكون لدينا لاعبون جدد يتمتعون بخبرة أوروبية قليلة، لذلك علينا التطور مباراة تلو الأخرى”.

وأتم: “نفتقد بعض اللاعبين المهمين، نلعب كل ثلاثة أيام وبدأ الإرهاق في الظهور، كما قلت، علينا أن نتعاون ونتحد ونبدأ من جديد في غضون أيام قليلة”.

Fabian Delph was a key reason why Manchester City reached 100 points last season, but this campaign he’s proved he’s just not up to scratch and must be let go in the summer. There’s no loyalty at the top.

Pep Guardiola and City fans clearly have massive respect for the Yorkshireman, and rightly so. He’s wasn’t good enough to play in their midfield, and most Premier League players wouldn’t be, so he forged his path to becoming their first-choice left back last season to great success.

Still, the club must rectify their shortcomings in the position this summer, and he needs to make way for an out-and-out full-back to own the position. Natural attacking midfielder Oleksandr Zinchenko has been excellent, but he’s not world-class and that’s what City need.

Benjamin Mendy is world-class, but he can only prove that when he’s fit. He’s not played enough games in the last two years for the club to trust him as first choice, so they need to dip into the transfer market after offloading Delph.

Yes, that means spending even more money! Exciting times.

Delph’s only made 11 appearances in the league this season, and he won’t be happy with that either. He’s been a great servant to the club, but he’s never really been the quality City are looking for. His sometimes-brainless challenges, like against Wigan and Swansea in the last two FA Cup campaigns, mean he’s not reliable either.

City rewarded him by keeping him for this season, but now it’s really time for him to move on, and we’re sure even he would agree.

Frankly, City need consistent left-backs and Delph can’t be one of them anymore.
