كشفت شرطة كتالونيا، في بيان رسمي مساء اليوم الإثنين، آخر تطورات القبض على جوسيب ماريا بارتوميو، رئيس مجلس إدارة برشلونة السابق، ومسؤولين سابقين داخل النادي الكتالوني.

واتهم مجلس الإدارة السابق لنادي برشلونة بقيادة جوسيب ماريا بارتوميو، بأنه تعاقد مع شركة لإدارة حسابات وهمية عبر وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي لتوجيه الرأي العام ضد من يهاجمونهم، بما في ذلك نجوم النادي القدامى، وعلى رأسهم تشافي هيرنانديز.

واقتحمت الشرطة الكتالونية مقر مكاتب برشلونة في “كامب نو” صباح اليوم الإثنين، من أجل البحث عن أي مستند متعلق بالقضية يُفيد في التحقيقات، وألقت القبض على بارتوميو و3 مسئولين آخرين من منازلهم (طالع التفاصيل).

وقالت الشرطة في بيانها: “اليوم قام قسم التحقيقات الجنائية بتنفيذ إجراءات من خلال التحقيق في جرائم مزعومة تتعلق بالممتلكات والنظام الاجتماعي والاقتصادي”.

وأضاف: “لقد أسفرت هذه الإجراءات عن 4 اعتقالات ومداهمة 5 أماكن، بما فيها كامب نو، بحثَا عن مواد مفيدة للتحقيق”.

واتمت الشرطة بيانها قائلة: “نحن نود أيضًا تسليط الضوء على موقف وتعاون برشلونة قبل وأثناء التحقيقات التي استمرت قرابة عام، والتحقيق ما زال مُستمرًا”.

During the quiet international break, Football London’s Tottenham Hotspur correspondent Alasdair Gold decided to pick his strongest Spurs XI, and of course it hasn’t been met with full agreement by the fans on Twitter.

One position in particular appeared to be questioned by those supporters who did respond, with the journalist choosing to select Kyle Walker-Peters ahead of the likes of Juan Foyth and Serge Aurier for the right-back role.

It is a spot that is very much up for grabs following the summer departure of Kieran Trippier, with Walker-Peters getting the nod in the opening three Premier League matches of the season before suffering an injury which then kept him out against Arsenal.

Davinson Sanchez started at full-back on that occasion, with Aurier an unused substitute at the Emirates.

Despite the fact the Ivory Coast international is yet to play a single minute this term, it appears as though the majority of Tottenham fans would like to see him given a chance if the following retorts are anything to go by.

ويُعد نجم مانشستر سيتي، أول لاعب من السكاي بلو، يحصل على هذه الجائزة شهرين مُتتالين، حيث لم يسبق لأحد تحقيق هذا الإنجاز قبل جوندوجان.

We’re sure that Liverpool fans would have had a few choice words for the problematic youngster after sharing these images, but Duncan disabled comments on his post, which tells you exactly how the fans feel about him, and that he is fully aware of that fact too.

However, one man who has shown some support for him on social media is Steven Gerrard. The Reds legend is in fact his cousin, and despite the strife between Duncan and Gerrard’s cherished boyhood club, the Rangers boss clearly has positive hopes for the youngster.

We suspect the Anfield faithful may not be massively fond of the subtle support for a player who forced his way out in such a public manner.

فالكاو سجل أمس هدفًا في فوز جالطة سراي بثلاثية نظيفة، في المباراة الأولى التي يبدأها المدرب فاتح تريم بالثنائي المصري والكولومبي في هجوم الفريق.

وقال مارسيلو ساراتشي في تصريحات لموقع جالطة سراي: “كان من المهم جدًا الحصول على 3 نقاط، كان علينا الفوز من أجل مواصلة المنافسة على المركز الأول”.

وأضاف: “نحن نلعب بشكل جيد، لدينا مجموعة من اللاعبين الرائعين، وسعيد لأننا لعبنا باثنين في الهجوم”.

وأشار: “مصطفى محمد وفالكاو كلاهما يعرف كيف يركض، نمتلك قوة كبيرة بتواجد الثنائي في الهجوم، نعرف أننا سنسجل في كل مباراة بسهولة”.

Leeds’ draw with Derby on Saturday was completely baffling.

The Whites were the dominant side and that’s probably putting things lightly.

They managed 132 passes in the opposition third by the time the break came around, eventually mustering over 60% of the possession.

Phillip Cocu’s men had just four shots in the entire game and even scored Leeds’ goal as the hosts took the lead courtesy of Max Lowe’s strike into his own net.

However, Leeds’ luck in front of their own fans went from bad to worse as Chris Martin’s late equaliser meant the points were shared.

Elland Road witnessed more drama between Marcelo Bielsa’s men and the Rams following the 4-2 result in the playoffs.

This was entertaining for different reasons, however, as they failed to win at home once again.

A number of weeks ago against Swansea, Leeds had 21 shots and over 60% of the possession again and lost. For many reasons, this was another similar display, even if they did actually come away from the game with a point.

But what was so incredible was that Leeds didn’t win given their dominance.

Patrick Bamford hit the post in the second half while Mateusz Klich also missed a penalty.

This was clearly the turning point in the game and Klich’s reaction to missing paints a picture of a thousand words.

The Pole stepped up confidently and fired home in assuring fashion from 12 yards against Barnsley just six days previous but this was a woeful effort.

In fact, he almost looked too confident as he strode up and consequently missed.

After skewing his spot-kick past the post, the midfielder stood dejected. If Leeds had scored they surely would have gone onto win the game.

Instead, they were made to pay the price.

تقارير شبكة “لا سيكستا” الإسبانية، أفادت بأن سيرجيو راموس سيتخذ قراره النهائي بشأن مستقبله خلال هذا الأسبوع، سواء الاستمرار مع ريال مدريد أو الرحيل.

مدة العقد وراتب اللاعب، مشكلتان أمام ريال مدريد، الذي يريد استمرار راموس لمدة موسم واحد فقط، نظرًا لوصوله إلى 35 عاما بعد أقل من أسبوعين، كذلك في ظل تخفيض الرواتب الذي يقوم بها النادي بعد أزمة فيروس كورونا.

Celtic signed promising young striker Jonathan Afolabi from Southampton over the summer, on freedom of contract.

He immediately went straight into Celtic’s Development Team.

Whilst with the Saints he broke into the Ireland Under 19 team, and forced his way into the club’s own Under 23 side, but he could never make the breakthrough to the first team squad.

Back in August, Neil Lennon said that he was already in his thinking for the first team squad, and now, according to Football Insider, he might be in line for a place quicker than expected. Indeed, the report  says there are plans to fast-track him into the first-team.

Should he actually get the chance, he faces a monumental task to get into the starting eleven with so many talented players in front of him. Not short of form, Ryan Christie, James Forrest and Odsonne Edouard have scored a combined 21 goals this season.

His versatility – he can play anywhere across the front – is to his advantage but even so, this is a club with plenty of talent in those roles already, and with Daniel Arzani back from injury the competition just got fiercer. Scott Sinclair, meanwhile, has barely featured this season with just 56 minutes to his name but boasts 61 career goals for Celtic.

It will take a very big talent to crack this cohort, but the 19-year-old appears to have won Lennon’s confidence. If he can produce then Celtic fans could soon have a new hero to worship.

During the last decade, Italian football was dominated by Juventus, winners of multiple Serie A trophies and Champions League finalists. There were no shortage of challengers and Napoli was the team to play this role more often, but none were strong enough for the task. A new season has started and one team stands out from the crowd, ready to challenge Juventus in the Italian first division.

Antonio Conte is the Best Coach for Inter

Antonio Conte is an experienced manager and the decision to bring him to Inter Milan should pay dividends. He was able to achieve success with different teams and he doesn’t mind starting from scratch, when there is real potential to triumph. He was able to bring Bari and Siena back to the first flight and his performance at Juventus confirmed his coaching abilities. Under his helm the team won three consecutive titles and became ready to challenge the best opponents continent-wide in the Champions League.

Having the best coach in the league definitely improves the perception of Inter Milan, among sports books and punters alike. They are now regarded as the second most likely team to win the trophy, as mentioned here and the main favourite for the second place. Not even the best coach can work wonders with the mediocre squad, but this is not the case here. Inter Milan have one of the strongest lineups in the Serie A and replacing the Argentinean striker Mauro Icardi won’t be a problem.

Lukaku’s arrival from Manchester United will breathe fresh life into the offensive department. The strong and accurate striker will be able to spearhead their offensive and defeat even the best back lines in the championship. Not only the attack has been improved, but also the midfield, which was rebuilt to better meet the expectations of Conte. This is a manager that values discipline and is willing to go the extra mile to keep players in check, for the good of the team.

Capitalising on Juventus’ Problems

Inter Milan has the best chance to win the Serie A in decades and that’s not exclusively their merit. Granted they have a solid midfield, a better than ever backline and a penetrating attack, the Milanese would’ve still been outclassed by a Juventus squad in its prime. Luckily for them, this is not the case as the multiple champions from Turin are making major changes to their roster. They have an ageing team and Maurizio Sarri will soon need to make changes that are not necessarily popular with the fans.
